Book Reccomendations

I absolutley love reading. It is by far one of my favorite things to do. I only wish I read more often. Reading lets my imagination soar to new heights. My mom is part of a book club so I usually get her hand me down books. She lets me know what stories are good and which ones are so so. We have similar interests in books so it usually works out.

One of my favorite books is called The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. The story is a memoir of her life. I can not really emphasize how captivating the stories in this book are and to think they are real stories of her life growing up. It really opened up my eyes to how different people's life styles are. I read it and then reccomended it to my mom's bookclub and they loved it. I have read it twice and would not hesitate to read it again. It gets an A in my gradebook.

The second book I recommend is title MARY Mrs. A. Lincoln written by Janis Cooke Newman. The book is about Mary Todd Lincoln, President Abarham Lincoln's wife. Wowzer this book is intense to say the least! If you like history, you will like/love this book. This story is written about Mary Todd Lincoln, one of history's most misunderstood and enigmatic women. It is written as if she is sharing the story of her life through her own words. This book is like the all access behind the scences pass to Ab Lincoln's life and struggles along with Mary's. It is hefty in size 616 pages but it is a page turner! Its weird, quirky, educational, insightful, and captivating. This book earns an A++ in my gradebook Loved it.

Happy Reading.

UP

Jimmy and I had ourselves a little afternoon date yesterday. Stonefire and a movie. Can't get much better than that! We went and saw the new cartoon movie UP! Oh my goodness! It was so awesome! It is such a great story filled with tons of laughs and tons of cries. I cried like every two seconds...of course I am overly emotional...but still it will bring tears to your eyes. I am pretty sure I caught Jimmy crying too...he has yet to admit to it! I definetly recommend the movie for anyone. It is just so great!Oh and the dog in the movie is so adorable!

So Far Far Away

Jimmy is all the way in Nebraska for 5 days (only 2 more starting tomorrow) and boy oh boy do I miss him. He is like my other half! He is out there playing baseball in the freezing cold.

Good thing I have TONS of homework that I needed and still have to get down that occupies my time.

Miss you babe! XOXO

Feeling Down...

Today is just one of those days. One of those days when one small thing turns the day a little bit sour.

This picture sums up pretty much how I am feeling right now
